I bought an RCA Viking Pro 10.1, model RCT6303W87DK about 8 months ago. I love the technology and form factor. It is fast, has great battery life, even sports a full size USB port in addition to a micro USB port and was priced low for what you got.

Given all that, the one big negative is a deal breaker, meaning I will love my RCA tablet, but never recommend that anyine buy it. Why? Unbeknownst to me, it was and remains an orphan from the day of its conception to now. No OS updates from Android 5.0, no firmware updates, Tech Support is an email version of the manual. I had to request the meaning of the top row of special keys on the keyboard, although most were basic and universal.

So, is the new version sporting Android 6.0 also an orphan? Let's hope not.
